Emily Portman sings poetic, darkly crafted original folk songs; we think her probably one of the most interesting and talented song lyricists in these isles. The band consists of herself on concertina and vocals, with accompaniment from her friends Lucy Farrell and Rachel Newton. All three musicians have won acclaim at the BBC Folk Awards, had airplay on Radio 3...
